The UK’s justice minister has told MPs that proposed domestic violence legislation would outlaw any use of the excuse of ‘violent sexual acts’ by mutual consent as an excuse or defense in cases of the murder of women. UK-Concentrative violent sex will not be recognized as a defense.

Alex Chalk said it was “unconscionable” for the defense to justify the woman’s death by saying she “consented” to it.

He said the domestic violence bill would “clearly” state that it is not acceptable.

It should be noted that the proposed bill will become law this year.

The ‘We Can’t Consent to This’ campaign, which advocates repealing this type of defense, hailed the UK minister’s statement as a ‘significant development’.

The campaign group says that the excuse of “violent sexual acts” leads to less punishment in such cases. UK-Concentrative violent sex will not be recognized as a defense.

Supporters of the campaign hope to see capital punishment introduced against suspects in sex-related deaths. UK-Concentrative violent sex will not be recognized as a defense.

The ‘We Can’t Consent to This’ campaign has found 60 examples of women in the UK who have died during sex since 1972. UK-Concentrative violent sex will not be recognized as a defense.

The group claims that in 45 percent of cases, “homicide cases resulted in lesser sentences or were not investigated as crimes at all.”

The group also says there are 114 women who have had to appear in court because they allegedly consented to sexual assault or battery.

Violent acts in such cases include dousing, beating, strangling and suffocating the partner during sex. UK-Concentrative violent sex will not be recognized as a defense.

Speaking in the Public Bills Committee, British Member of Parliament Jess Phillips said, ‘Everyone should be clear about this law. You cannot consent to injury or death, but the law is effective in this regard.’

“A woman who is dead cannot talk about herself and any man who is accused of killing a woman will say that she (the woman) wanted it,” he added.

He said, “That’s why we need to change this law.” UK-Concentrative violent sex will not be recognized as a defense.

Alex Chalk, responding on behalf of the government, said: ‘It is very unconscionable for those defending themselves to say that the woman’s death was justified or justified or lawfully defended. It may be because the woman agreed to engage in a sexual act that involved harassment and violence in order to gain more sexual gratification.’

The ‘Inexcusable’ Defence

He said he would “make that very clear in the proposed draft domestic violence law, but he is concerned that the language or wording of the amendment would allow defense lawyers to ‘move around’.

He said that the government’s point of view should be clear at the report stage of the draft law itself, after which the bill will be brought to the parliament. Jess Phillips said that he was satisfied with the government’s assurance.

“We Can’t Know This” group said that what happened in Parliament is a big step forward. He added that he should know within a few weeks what his proposals are and how much progress has been made on them.

During Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Question Time earlier this month, Conservative MP Laura Fears said the government had played a key role in tackling domestic violence, but also stressed that A negative or dark aspect of domestic violence that remains unresolved is the justification of violent sexual acts.

In response, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that he is committed to making the law clear and transparent and that such an excuse cannot be accepted and is inexcusable.
